Theranica USA, Inc. is hiring a Finance Manager in New Jersey -
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our medical device startup organization - Theranica USA, Inc., which is already generating material and growing revenues. The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing all financial aspects of the US organization. This position requires solid analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry environment, mainly dealing with Specialty Pharmacies, HUB distribution models and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) distributors in the US, with profound   experience of all "Gross To Net" (GTN) processes and aspects in the medical device industry, including all the relationships with medical insurance entities and Payors.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and manage the annual budgeting process in alignment with company goals and objectives.
Monitor financial performance against budget and provide insights into variances.
Provide forecasts, financial models, and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure compliance with U.S Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external big four auditors for quarterly reviews and yearend audit.
Treasury and Cash Management:
Manage cash flow by forecasting and analyzing cash needs, optimizing working capital, and overseeing cash management activities.
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure/maintain appropriate financing and banking services.
Implement effective treasury policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks.
Cost Management and Efficiency:
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Analyze cost drivers and provide recommendations to streamline operations while maintaining high quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional (local and overseas) teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations implementing (when the time is right) Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, SEC compliance and all other industry-specific regulations compliance.
Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Decision Support Assessment:
Support senior management in managing all the operational aspects of the business.
Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies for potential projects and initiatives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred. Additional finance and/or MBA a plus.
Minimum 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, of which 5 years in a medical device (DME) startup environment.
Experience in working with one of the “big-4”” audit firms is an advantage.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Knowledge of U.S GAAP, SOX compliance, SEC regulations are an advantage.
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work alone and being an autodidact.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Demonstrated execution capability and a track record of driving results in a dynamic startup environment.
Experience in working with Israeli counterparts or within the Israeli business culture is a significant advantage.
Must be experienced in working with Specialty Pharmacies and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) distributors in the US, with a deep understanding of all "Gross To Net" (GTN) processes in the medical device industry.
Experience with HUB distribution models under medical and pharmacy benefit (such as dispensing partners, coupon buy-down programs and telemedicine).
Experience working with payors/market access, CED, co-insurance/deductibles, HCPs and governmental entities such as VA, DOD, Tricare, etc. a plus.
