WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
As a Presale Engineer, you are responsible for identifying new features, products, and business opportunities while being a critical driver of sales initiatives. Our team collaborates with clients to understand their challenges and solutions. You will work to become a trusted advisor for our clients, enabling you to build confidence in TP-Link’s technology infrastructure.
WHAT YOUR FUTURE LOOKS LIKE:
Knowledge base on networking 
Understanding business scenarios of hospitality, restaurant, or health care
Verification of whether products will work for customers
Delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients
Liaising with those developing products/services to gain an in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers – and to let them in on user behavior and/or any potential changes clients would like
Helping the sales team to reach targets
Conducting research into the industry – including competitor research
Potentially considering new markets or clients to contact, based on your knowledge of both the products/services and their users.
Experience working in highly collaborative environments
Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
Requirements
3+ years of experience
A Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Engineering or related field
Background in Networking; Certifications related to networking can be advantageous.
Based in Southern California, able to work in Irvine office.
Travel to the client's location to propose solutions or conduct training when needed.
Must possess strong communication and presentation skills 
Ability to understand and articulate complex technical details to a non-technical audience.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
Benefits
Salary: $80K - 150K DOE
