An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Line Leader for our client’s fresh food production site. With a new facility being built on their site they are looking to recruit team leaders to be trained for the beginning of May, so you need to be available ASAP.

Reporting into the Packing Manager, this role would suit someone from a fast-paced food environment, someone who can manage a small team and be hands on with packing, and production where necessary.

Own transport due to rural location but the company offer free parking, company uniform, PPE for food environment, pension, holidays, annual pay increases.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities of Line Leader:

* Manage and maximise the productivity and efficiencies of your team.

* To motivate and develop the skill base of your team members including online training where necessary.

* Accurate scanning and completion of line documentation.

* Completion of daily equipment safety checks

Experience & Skills for Line Leader:

* Self-motivated and able to work with your own initiative.

* Experience of managing a team.

* Good level of numeracy & literacy to carry out area reporting activities.

* IT skills

* Industrious and able to prioritise tasks.

Working Monday to Friday 6am – 3pm with the possibility of staying until 5pm for busy periods with occasional Saturday cover
