Do you want to make a difference in the energy transition and have a passion for technology? Our client is looking for a Production Team Leader to support us in operations and contribute to the growth and development of our esteemed company!
Roles & Responsibilities
As a welding process specialist, you train and supervise welders and supervise the welding processes during production.

• You are the point of contact for the welder for welding technical issues;
• You identify and assist the welding agency in developing trends in welding repairs and in identifying possible causes;
• You will be welding new welding method qualifications (PQR);
• Participate in the improvement teams;
• You manage welders functionally and you monitor the welding quality delivered.
• Carrying out machine audits.
• You contribute to the development of new welding methods together with colleagues from the welding department;
• Monitoring the correct use of welding procedures and deployment of qualified personnel on the work floor;
• Perform welding inspections and proactively identify maintenance or modification needs of welding machines;
• You take the necessary responsibility for your work, quality, safety and achieving objectives.

Education, experience & skills

• A (minimum) completed technical MBO-3 education (vocational degree);
• Experience in welding technology, (functional) management of welders or the management and training of welders;
• IWP or IWS is an advantage;
• A good command of the English and Dutch language, both spoken and largely written;
• Do you have a valid VCA-VOL diploma? Otherwise you can obtain this via Sif;
• Basic knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
